The World Health Organization (WHO) is a South-East Asia Region (Searo) of six regional offices; The office was formed with the representatives of the member state. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's daughter Saima Wazed was elected director in the 8th session of Searo in New Delhi, India on October 8-22 November. On February 7, 2021, the only Bangladeshi and the second woman in the world joined WHO's Delhi office in India.
